Color Run is THIS Friday! We have a few reminders for you: 1) Order forms for sunglasses are due this Wednesday. You can send $3 cash to school or you can Venmo the payment to @WalkerPTA-Wildcat. Please remember to note the student's name and teacher. 2) Keep asking for donations to help raise money to repair and resurface the track. Packets are due Thursday. 3) Start Friday off by adding color hair spray to your hair for just $1. Let's make this Color Run a success! Thank you for all your help! The Walker Wildcat PTA Color Run will be happening on Friday, April 14th. Each grade level will run for 20 minutes on the track. The schedule is listed below. 8:30 4th Grade 9:00 2nd Grade 9:30 5th Grade 10:00 Kindergarten 10:30 1st Grade 11:00 3rd Grade This is a fundraising event for PTA. Packets were sent home with students on Monday with information on how your family can help raise funds. It takes {Many} volunteers to make this event a success. Please consider signing up to help with our Walker Wildcat Color Jam Run. The Walker Food Pantry will not be open today due to the pending inclement weather. The next Food Pantry will be on Tuesday, April 11th. The Walker Elementary Food Pantry will be handing out food to families in need on Tuesday, April 11th from 3:20-5:30 in the back bus parking lot. Please have your blue car tag. Pre-K parents can identify their child's first and last name if they do not have a car tag.

Kindergarten & 1st grade will NOT have brain camp today due to the pending inclement weather. All students will be dismissed at 3:10 to either ride the bus home, to walk or to the car line.

It's National Assistant Principals Week, April 3–7, 2023, so let's celebrate Walker Elementary's Assistant Principal, Mrs. Carrie Farris. This week is a dedicated time to recognize Mrs. Farris for her hard work and commitment to our school, students, and the profession of education.
