We’re thrilled to partner with the Civil Air Patrol! ✈️🚀 Thanks to their generosity, every Walker student received a STEM kit that will be used during STEAM as part of our aerospace education unit. Our scientists used sugar cubes to model how rocks "tumble" downhill, watching jagged edges turn into rounded "boulders" right before their eyes. From counting edges to discussing volcanic ash and fossils, these 4th graders are master problem-solvers! 🌋💥
Huge shout-out to Mrs. Carter and her class for such an engaging, hands-on day of discovery. Way to go, geologists! 👏✨
