It’s Fall Carnival Day! We can’t wait to see all our Wildcats dressed up having fun this evening! You won’t want to miss! 5-7 pm at Walker Elementary School. Don’t forget your bag or bucket for all your goodies! $5 entry per child (don’t forget your wristband if you prepaid) Cash (PREFERRED) or Venmo Follow those that are directing traffic so we can avoid any collisions. Food trucks are located in the back in the bus circle. Be sure and check them out! They are each giving us a percentage back in sales! Most importantly HAVE FUN!

We encourage you to complete the fire escape plan assignment from the Springdale Fire Department with your child—your child could even win a ride to school in a fire truck! Friday, October 18th is the perfect day to work on it since there’s no school. Camp War Eagle is excited to announce that the Camp War Eagle camper application is now available for families. Applications will be available until May, however, campers who apply by December 15 will have the best chance of getting to be a part of their summer programs. Kindergarten visited McGarrah Farms today and had tons of fun with a bunch of activities! They even picked their own pumpkins to bring home! Thank you to the wonderful staff at McGarrah Farms, Walker staff, and the volunteers that made this an amazing field trip! #SpringdaleFamily

All of Kindergarten learned the process of making their own butter, and most importantly, they got to enjoy eating it afterwards! 🧈

This morning we had some guests from the Har-Ber High School football team to help with the car line! We appreciate their help and the kids loved seeing them! 🏈#SpringdaleFamily

Dr. Kendrick and Mrs. Paxson's students put their science skills to the test by dissecting owl pellets today! The teachers and students had a fantastic time with this activity!

3rd graders are working hard in their math groups. They are using strategies to solve multiplication problems. Way to go Wildcats! 🐾

We’re excited to celebrate Book Character Day with a special STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) session for each grade level in the Wonder Lab on Thursday, October 31st Each class will enjoy a fun-filled 45-minute session, rotating through hands-on stations . It’s going to be a fantastic day of learning and creativity, and we’d love to have you join us! Hello Walker Wildcats, We will be having a picture retakes tomorrow, Wednesday , October 9th. Any student who was not at school on our original picture day will get their picture taken for the yearbook. Also, if you would like to have your child get picture retakes, please let us know.
