Miss Beaver and Mrs. McCartney took one for the team in the name of science for our ROAR STEAM classes today! Students were tasked with making a catapult and competing with each other by launching ping pong balls into a net! #ROAR #21CCLC #SpringdaleFamily
Kindergartners had fun learning about the sun and its warmth this week! In class, they tested UV beads on bracelets to see how sunlight affects them. During STEAM enrichment, students put their engineering skills to work by building shade structures to keep “Harry” safe from the sun. ☀️🛠️
2nd graders have been learning about Pioneers in Flight in their ELA Benchmark unit. This week we welcomed the Arkansas Air & Military Museum for hands-on aviation activities!
Students read about pilots, built straw rockets, tested toy gliders outside, and explored balance and gravity in Wonder Lab aviation challenges. Each student also received a foam rocket from the Civil Air Patrol.
