We had an amazing Kindergarten Signing Day, welcoming many of our future Wildcat Kindergarteners into our school! Families had the chance to sign up for kindergarten, greet the grade, and get a sneak peek of all the fun ahead. Don’t forget to register your future kindergartner for Kindergarten Jumpstart! Our kindergartners had a special field trip opportunity to visit the local Springdale Fire Station! This exciting experience helped bring to life the kindergarten academic standard C.1.K.7: Learn ways that people improve communities. Firefighters help our community by keeping us safe, responding to emergencies, teaching us about fire safety, and being everyday heroes! We’re so grateful for the chance to learn from them and see how they serve and protect our neighborhoods. Thank you, Springdale Fire Department, for your dedication and for welcoming our students! #SpringdaleFamily

A big Wildcat shout-out to Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Fair, and Mrs. Norton for representing Walker Elementary as they worked alongside other Springdale staff on district alignment in mathematics!
