Welcome back to Walker Elementary School for the 2024-25 school year! We are excited to see our Kindergarten through 5th-grade students again. To ensure your child is prepared for a successful year, we have a $40.00 Classroom Supply Fee. This fee covers all necessary classroom supplies for the year and a Walker T-shirt. Additionally, each student will need a set of comfortable, over-the-ear headphones, (Wireless/Bluetooth earbuds or headphones and AirPods are not allowed). Hello from the Walker Elementary Kindergarten Team! We are excited to meet you and your child as they start their Kindergarten year. We will be hosting a Kindergarten Jump Start July 29th-30th. There are different time slots, please only pick one per student. In the comment section, please type in your child's name. You will drop your child off and be able to come into the school to tour the school at your scheduled time. Your child will then stay until the ending time listed on your slot. They will get a small glimpse of what will happen when they come to school on their first day. When you come back to pick up your child, we will have you all practice the car rider line so you and your child will know what to expect on the first day of school. Hello Walker Families, Summer ROAR session 3 begins tomorrow, Monday, July 15 from 9am-2pm. Bus 189 will pick up bus riders starting at 8:30. We still have space available. If you would like to sign your child up for this session, please come to Walker at 8:00 am tomorrow morning.

Attention 5th Grade Families, The 5th Grade Celebration is tomorrow (Friday, May 23, 2024) at 1:30 pm. All guests will need to sign in with an ID. To expedite the process, we encourage guests to arrive between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm to receive an armband, which will allow you to skip the line at the time of the assembly. When the front and back parking lots fill up, we will direct you to park in the grass area in front of the library. We look forward to celebrating our 5th-grade students.
