If you are waiting in our car line, your vehicle can not block any driveways. It was reported to us that vehicles waiting in the Walker car line were blocking driveways. Please do not block driveways when you are waiting in the car line. Also, make sure to leave space in front of the walker driveway to allow our buses to exit Walker. Arkansas Code 27-51-1302 states that no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places: in front of a public or private driveway. Hello Walker Parents and Caregivers, Just wanted to remind everyone that today is Wednesday and we dismiss school at 1:50 on Wednesdays. Buses will load after our 1:50 dismissal. All bus riders will be at their scheduled stops between 1:55 and 2:10 today and on all other Wednesdays. Hola padres y cuidadores de Walker, Solo quería recordarles a todos que hoy es miércoles y salimos de la escuela a la 1:50 los miércoles. We will have two lunch choices this year. Kindergarten will start with one choice. Kindergarten will be served lunch pak on Monday. Monday, August 15th is the First Day of School. School Supplies are $30 and can be paid online now. All students will need a pair of headphones, a backpack and a water bottle which are not included in the supply fee. Just a Reminder: The Walker Elementary NEHS Food Pantry will be open today (Tuesday, August 2nd) from 3:15-5:30. This pantry is a service for any Walker family in need. Pick up will be in the north parking lot.
