Walker Elementary

The Walker Food Pantry will be handing out food to any Walker family in need from 3:20-5:30 pm on tomorrow on Tuesday, December 6th in the north parking lot. You will be required to show your blue car tag to receive the food unless you only have a PreK child. PreK families will be required to give your PreK child's name and teacher.

Just a reminder… Our Pizza with the PTA general meeting is tonight’s at 5:30! Pizza is being generously provided by Precision Tune Auto for those who come to the meeting. Come get pizza at 5:30. Children can come and watch videos in the cafeteria (with supervision) while parents meet in the library for the meeting at 5:45. Please RSVP if you plan on attending. Tomorrow (November 30th) is picture retake day. Only students who missed our picture day or students who need to have their picture retaken will be photographed. If you would like for your child to have retakes, please let your child's teacher know.

Our kindergarten students are busy learning how to blend sounds to create new words. They had fun putting themselves in the correct order to spell out a CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) word.
