Dear Walker Families, Here is the Walker Parent Newsletter for the week after spring break (March 28-April 1st).

Spring Break is next week. We will not have school from March 21st through March 25th. We hope you will find some time to spend together as a family getting out and seeing things around in the community. Hello Walker Families, We are planning on having school tomorrow unless the forecast changes significantly this evening or early in the morning. All students brought devices home just in case we needed to do AMI tomorrow.

Walker Families, Student-Led Conferences are this week! Please make sure to come to your child's conference at the scheduled time. Our Wildcats can't wait to share with their parents. Due to conferences, we will not have Brain Camp this week. We will not have Roar on Monday or Tuesday due to conferences. We will have Roar on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Walker Elementary received The Arkansas Joint Use Agreement (JUA) Grant which allows schools to form community partnerships in order to maximize the resources while increasing opportunities for physical activity. These grant funds allowed us to add a playground to our track area on the north side of the school This area is open for community use and includes a track, soccer field, volleyball net, and this beautiful new playground. We hope to see families enjoying this space in the evenings and on weekends.
